ALLTRANZ
Background
ALLTRANZ and Ember Technology partnered in March 2022. Initially, some of the New Zealand infrastructure needed refinement and Ember Technology focussed on setting high levels of service. We were introduced to their Australian team in 2024 after ALLTRANZ joined forces with another company, with growth later continuing into Western Australia. IT systems needed to be consistent across all branches and both countries, and a Japanese shareholder increased compliance and reporting requirements.

ALLTRANZ is a leading automotive transmission supplier across five states in Australia and two branches in New Zealand. Their footprint has grown through acquisition, which has introduced some complexity in their IT networking.
About The Client
The Challenge
ANZCO required a solution that could:
01.
Standardise New Zealand and Australian branches onto one network
02.
Absorb newly acquired sites without disrupting trading
03.
Strengthen cybersecurity to meet the expectations of management and the Japanese shareholder
04.
Use Artificial Intelligence to gain efficiencies in stock ordering and stock management.
05.
Extend support across all branches in New Zealand and Australia
Key Outcomes
One Network across
Two Countries
All eight branches now run on a single standardised network
Automation that
Delivered
The stock ordering and management project met its first-year objectives, reducing manual ordering hours and stock-outs. ALLTRANZ is already scoping the next project.
Security Strengthened
alongside Growth
Cybersecurity has been reinforced at every stage of the programme rather than reviewed at the end of it.
Our Solution
We started with the network. ALLTRANZ's Auckland office needed some infrastructure upgraded, including a new server for the whole company.
As the business grew, the scope changed. We picked up helpdesk support for the Australian branches, rebuilt their network, and took on IT support across both countries. We're now aligning phone systems and internet across the same footprint.
In 2026 we moved into automation, using AI to handle stock ordering and management. It hit what we set out to do and made the process measurably more efficient, and ALLTRANZ is now looking at where to apply it next.
Cybersecurity has been reinforced at every stage - an opportunity within each project rather than a separate piece of work bolted on afterwards.
