Since joining Ember in 2026, Alistair has taken on the role of Innovation Business Development Manager, identifying areas of opportunity and the strategy and tactics to move into them. Much of his role is having meaningful conversations that solve customers' problems and unlocking opportunities, both within Ember and client-facing.

Alistair has spent most of his career in and around tech, including 13 years selling end-user devices and technology in customer facing roles. He was a franchisee proprietor at Harvey Norman, where he helped set up the technology commercial division, and more recently spent three and a half years at Spark as a Business Development Manager and Client Lead, building his experience across tech, AI and innovation. 

What he enjoys most is taking heavy tech speak and breaking it down into pragmatic concepts and ideas people can understand and use. He brings a small business mentality and a commercial lens to that work, with a clear sense of what a good business looks like and how to scale opportunity. Alistair's strengths lie in curiosity and client outcomes - an optimist by nature, he is easy to get along with, genuinely passionate about tech, and a strong advocate for the people and businesses he works with. 

Outside of work Alistair enjoys getting outdoors, fishing, diving and adventuring with his family.
