Since joining Ember Technology in 2026, Christopher has brought a strong blend of technical curiosity and people-focused thinking to his role as a Systems Engineer. Currently completing his Bachelor of ICT at Ara whilst working at Ember Technology full-time, he has built a solid foundation across both technical theory and real-world application.

Christopher began his tertiary journey at the University of Canterbury, studying Computer Science before transitioning to International Business, giving him a broader perspective on how technology supports organisations.

In his role, Christopher focuses on problem-solving and client support, drawing on previous experience in technical support and a growing interest in networking and systems. He is particularly passionate about Linux environments and continues to expand his skill set through ongoing certifications and hands-on learning. Known for his strong communication skills and approachable nature, Christopher enjoys working with people.

Outside of work, Christopher is a passionate jazz trumpet player and enjoys staying active through running and tennis, building on his background as a competitive runner. He also spends time working on personal tech projects, continuing to explore his interest in systems and technology.
