Hamish Saunders
Support Engineer
Hamish joined Ember at the end of 2012 and is one of our most experienced systems engineers and resident technical experts. With a background in tertiary IT studies, Microsoft certification training, and early experience in electrical engineering, Hamish has always gravitated toward all things computer-related.
Hamish specialises in setting up and maintaining networks, Wi-Fi and phone systems, configuring servers, authentication and email systems, and tackling day-to-day technical issues - right through to fixing what’s broken. Hamish thrives on problem-solving, troubleshooting and automating repetitive tasks to make life easier for clients. Known for his strong technical memory and attention to detail, he brings reliability and depth of knowledge to everything he does.
Outside of work, Hamish practices karate (first-level black belt), enjoys gaming and gardening, and has even built an acrobatic racing drone to fly through obstacle courses.
